The UK airline to provide complimentary fast onboard internet through satellite deal
Travelers on the airline are set to enjoy high-speed wifi in the air free of charge after a recent agreement involving Elon Musk's satellite provider.
Free and Fast Connectivity Across the Board
British Airways revealed that the complimentary, “reliable and lightning-fast” connectivity service through the satellite provider becomes accessible to passengers flying coach, premium economy, and first class starting the coming month.
Expanded Implementation Over Several Carriers
The holding company for BA, the airline group, stated it had finalized an deal with the satellite firm to provide wifi access for 500-plus jets within their carriers, such as Aer Lingus, Iberia, and Vueling.
Smooth Wifi from Gate through Arrival
British Airways stated that this implementation for the technology formed part of a seven billion pound “modernization” program and would offer uninterrupted internet service to flyers from the gate through arrival, also when they are flying over seas or remote regions.

Current Connectivity Services
