The Pop Star Portrays a Hell Version of Herself in Mockumentary Preview

The Grammy-winning artist is getting ready for a substantial big screen appearance in 2026, beginning with the mockumentary titled The Moment.

In the film, the artist plays what she describes as a hell version of her own persona.

It’s the realest depiction of the music industry that I’ve ever encountered, the star remarked.

She elaborated in a conversation: It’s far from a live performance documentary, yet the concept originated from the demand to create one.

A Sneak Peek into The Moment

The debut trailer, unveiled on recently, mixes authentic footage from her live performances with made-up off-stage interactions.

The film is overseen and co-authored by Aidan Zamiri, who shared that the plot focuses on a world where Charli took completely different paths in the promotion of her chart-topping release Brat.

The film is only one of several forthcoming screen roles for Charli, who already featured in three independent movies recently.

Additionally, she signed on to feature in the actress’s first film as director A Tree in Blue.

Score Contributions

Next February will also bring the launch of the filmmaker’s adaptation of Wuthering Heights, which will showcase fresh tracks from the artist.

She will also compose the score for the film Mother Mary, with Anne Hathaway and Michaela Coel, set to be released next year.

The Moment is scheduled to debut on January 30.
